Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to many classical music and older Boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any dramatic performance. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and young professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions singing traditional Latin American Music. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of music and art keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates being able to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
