Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best well-known for her role in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After her parents' divorce her parents separated, she moved to Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's main character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. After leaving the show, Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. The same character was played by Grace on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace was back on the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon.
