Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actor, known for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Hain Koun..! The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. As a child, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. As a teenager She began to act and suffered for several years as the majority of her early films failed. Eventually, she found success with Indian film and climbed to the very top. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the business. Recently, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India was awarded to Dixit. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
